The Great Pop Fiasco of 2012

 Have you ever seen a stain or something on the ceiling and thought, "How in the world did that get up there?"  Well, now we know.  And it wasn't even Joseph's fault!  It was mommy's...








We came home to make dinner after Mass, and I threw the 2 L bottles of Coke I had just purchased into the freezer to try to get them cold before dinner.  I put them on the top shelf, thinking they'd be fine.  A few minutes later when I went to grab something out of the freezer, the pops came tumbling down, landing on the floor and exploding everywhere, all over the ceiling,

reaching the 12 or so feet to the back wall,

and all over me (sorry, no pictures!)

 

Fortunately, Joseph was behind the little retaining wall in the entry way and was spared a shower.  It didn't keep him from freaking out a little bit though.  I couldn't blame him.  Mark got home a few minutes later (he bikes to and from school), and he took Joseph outside while I cleaned up.  Despite the mess, all we could do was laugh.  It was just too crazy :)

This is his new truck that he got at the rummage sale on Saturday. He already has lots of trucks but he really liked this one and it was only $0.50, so mom and dad caved :) He put up the dumper and thought he could ride on it, but it's a little small!  


 

 Here are some pictures from Story Hour, which we go to every Tuesday in Immokalee.  Joseph is getting a lot better at all the songs and activities.  He still can hardly stand still for the stories! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 He really likes going to the library.  This semester they are learning colors; this week's color was yellow.

We have seen a few more alligators but haven't gotten any good pictures yet! Maybe next time.  Love you and miss you all!
