Preschool

Joseph started preschool this year!  I don't know if I should even call it "preschool" because it is very simple and basic, and we only do it 1-2 hours a week.  A friend of Joseph's from our parish joins us one day a week, and other times throughout the week we do it whenever the boys are interested.  Here are some pictures and brief explanations.

Our school shelf!  I finally found something that I could close the
doors on while we weren't using it so the boys (really just Jonathan) wouldn't get into it.

Cutting, Beading, Dressing frames, and touch boards
Handbroom for cleanup, bead sorting, popcorn spooning
Rice pouring (in use by Joseph at the time) Cylinder blocks, Tower blocks

When Jonathan decided to give up his morning nap, we had to find something for him to do during school.  He is an active little guy and would not let the boys use their school materials without wanting in on the action!  Naturally, I googled it and found some activities for him to do.  He really enjoys it, although he moves pretty quickly from activity to activity, so I'll probably have to come up with new ones soon.
Bead spooning, and playing, and pouring out, and putting in his mouth... (Don't worry, he doesn't swallow!)
There is a whole on top of the lid where he can put the magnets in.

We have some spills occasionally!

Joseph building the tower. This is one of his favorites!
