I'm finally taking some time to get back into our family blog. We moved to Burnsville, MN in January and Mark is attending the University of St. Thomas working toward a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. Apparently we moved in the middle of a pretty harsh winter, as here it is the first day of April and 35 degrees outside... I moan every time I get the gas bill and see that the average temp last year at this time was 20 degrees higher... At least we moved halfway through, and as the snow keeps melting there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Here are some of our Easter pictures!

This was our first attempt of dyeing Easter eggs with Joseph... I thought I thought of everything (no clothes, paper on the table, etc) until it all ended with a bowl of green Easter egg dye on the carpet. Oh, well, it was fun while it lasted! Joseph kept wanting to put all of the eggs in one bowl at a time. I was sure all of them would turn out some kind of brown, but we got a few ok ones! Unfortunately, Mark is the only one who likes hard-boiled eggs, so we only made 5. Joseph did eat a couple bites yesterday, so we'll keep trying to push them on him, too :)

The Easter bunny came and hid eggs during Joseph's nap!
We've decided Joseph is his Godmother's (Aunt Carrie) Godson! We had gone to an egg hunt last weekend and he learned there that eggs sometimes have candy in them! Once he found out there were M&M's in them (Aunt Carrie's favorite, too), he wanted to open them all right away. Of course, Mom and Dad were trying to ration the candy a little bit, so Mark had to steal them as soon as he found them!
Wanted to share a picture of our Easter prayer altar flowers! We got them at Trader Joe's and they weren't blooming as of Saturday, but the Hyacinth started blooming yesterday and the Daffodils started today! I was so excited, I need all the spring I can get in the house!
