Joseph is 2!!

Well, we now have a 2 year-old, and I believe we have already started a little bit of the terrible two's.  But, it is still such a fun age!  We had so much fun celebrating Joseph's birthday; we went to the Mall of America and rode some of the rides and then we went to McDonald's (yes, this is one of Joseph's favorite places and he refers to it as Old McDonald's!) for dinner and playtime.  He was showered with way more toys than he needs, as most first-born are, including a beloved train set, so we don't have to go to other places to play with one now!

Here are some pictures from the day:

Joseph and his "2" pancake (which I'm very proud of).
The baby chick wanted to be in the picture, too.

Ride # 1 - It's blurry, but you can see how much he's enjoying it!

Waiting in line for the school bus ride.

On the train, which sadly was pretty lame after the other rides!

This one was fun!  I decided no more rides for me after that though!

Hot-Air balloon with Daddy.
I actually got yelled at because apparently
you can't take pictures while the ride is moving?
No other rides said that!

We spent a lot of time at the train table in the toy store!

Last ride of the day!
Joseph got to pick out a cookie and of course chose the
one with the most frosting on it!

All of the frosting was licked off before
we got home!

He was so tired!! He took a three hour nap.

Present time!  We actually had to wake him up for this because his nap was so long and we didn't want it to interfere with bedtime.  He didn't mind though...

The race track from Uncle Matt was a big hit!

Train set!  We have been looking forward to this!

In the play place at McD's.

I could barely get him into his seat before he blew out the candles!

But, the train set was calling, he licked off the frosting
and confirmed that he was all done!
